**A Personal Note:** I understand the hurdles you might face. Once, I was denied the chance to take the Algebra Regents in middle school for reasons unrelated to my math skills. With my mother’s advocacy and my commitment, I triumphed, passing not just Algebra but also Earth Science Regents. This experience taught me the power of perseverance and the importance of self-advocacy – lessons I hope to pass on to you.

 

**Our Collective Goal:** By the end of this course, my aim is for you to have a solid grasp of Algebra fundamentals, newfound confidence in math, and the skills to excel in the Algebra 1 Regents exam. Remember, reading is fundamental, even in math. Often, the answers you seek are hidden in the words of a problem. So, read each problem thrice and let’s uncover the secrets together.

 

As we embark on this journey, let’s remember that math is not just numbers and equations. It’s a gateway to understanding the world and, importantly, a tool for crafting our future successes.
